Pre-Treatment Instructions
Take note of the following do's and don'ts to ensure you get the best results from your procedure of choice. Should you have any questions, please call us.
Eyebrows
DO NOT SHAVE YOUR EYEBROWS! Avoid tweezing, waxing, electrolysis, and coloring your brows for two weeks prior to the procedure if possible. This will allow your practitioner the most flexibility to achieve optimal results.
Eyeliner
DO NOT WEAR CONTACT LENSES DURING OR IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE. Remember to bring your glasses. You may resume wearing your contact lenses as soon as your eyes return to their pretreated condition.
Bring sunglasses as your eyes will be very light sensitive after your procedure.
Please remove lash extensions 24 plus hours prior to your eyeliner procedure.
Avoid tinting lashes for one week prior to and one week after your eyeliner procedure.
Do not use eyelash growth stimulants such as Latisse®, RapidLash®, or RevitaLash® for at least two weeks prior to and two weeks after your eyeliner procedure.
Lips
Lip procedures require all patients to take antiviral medication even if you don’t have any history of cold sores/ fever blisters/ herpes simplex. It could be dormant in your system.
You must contact your physician to obtain and take the proper prescription medication to prevent such outbreaks for at least 4 days before and after the procedure. Many physicians prescribe Valtrex, Zovirax, Acyclovir, L-Lysine or similar medication.
Follow your physician’s instructions. Two or three applications may be required to achieve the desired results. It is not uncommon to lose up to 70% of the color on the first application.
If you don't have a physician or a dentist contact us to consult with our medical director for a prescription. We will not perform any lip procedures without the preventative medication.
